@ Hanoi location. Dark brown. Light head. Butterscotch and toffee aroma. Some butter, quite nutty. Soft and smooth. Tastes pretty Czech, actually.

Draft @ brewpub. Dark brown/near-black with lasting tan head. Big worty aroma screams beer. Pure bready doughy goodness with sweet molasses notes. my soft palate. Flavors are great bread crust, dark malt, husk, absolutely delicious and quaffable.

Draught at Hoa Vien Brauhaus, Saigon. Very dark brown with a creamy off white head. Light roasted malts, caramel and some chocolate. Smooth finish. A tasty dunkel.

Draught@brewpub, HCMC. Almost opaque black, creamy thick beige head. Served ice gold. Caramel, toasted malts and wort in the aroma. Creamy, soft palate. Chocolaty and caramelly flavor. Clean. Good imitation of Czech dunkel.

Draught at HoaViên Brähaus, Hanoi location Very dark brown, small creamy head. Light aroma of roast ymalt and hay. Medium sweet wit hclean mouthfeel. Carefully roasty and soapy with hay and orange coming through later together with black currant. Finishes with cery light bitterness and notes of tobacco and sugar. So Czechish thet even the good soldier Svejk could’ve been fooled.

i drank this at the brewpub in vietnam, not really sure it was a dunkels...they just list their beers as light, medium, and dark. they are supposable brewed in teh chec way, figure the light is a pilsnener and so forth . not bad beer for this region and some of the best i had at brewpubs in southeast asia. dark brown in color large tan head. sweet nose of coffee, toffe, choc. flavors continue into the palate with a bit of black liquorice.
