Nice color dark but red when you hold it up to the light. Very peppy for a dark beer . Initially tastes like coffee beans- then the more sophisticated dark beer flavor hits. It’’s ok.

Really enjoyed this. Chocolate aromas with a full taste of nutty, coffee and malt. Short finish which is where it lacks but overall a very good Ontario beer.

Pours a deep burgundy brown with a huge tan head that leaves lots and lots of lacing. Nose is roasty with a hint of chocolate. Flavour is roasty and dark. A hint of coffee, and a tiny hint of bitter hops just as the finish starts. It is a little on the flat side, but it is not too watered down. Not a bad beer, it is pretty tasty.

Brown red tinted with medium tan creamy-looking head. Sweet malty aroma, kinderbier, dry fruitiness. Thin but soft palate, lacks substantiality. Would be nicer if bigger bodied. But nice flavors, dry, simple, straightforward, malty without being sweet. Decent.

Dark brown color with a low tan head. Rich, sweet, malty and fruity aroma. toffee, a bit of coffee. Sweet dark malt flavor, with molasses and caramel, some fruit, and little hops. Very pleasant and mild, with complex malts, fruit. Full-bodied.
