Bottle. Vintage (unknown how old). Pours a pale light (golden) brown. No head. Sweet, oxydised malt aroma. Same flavour, but with notes of syrup as well. Dusty finish. Hasn’t aged too well. Still, not a drain pour. 26-09-09.

Bottle. [thank you, dedollewaitor]
[probably vintage 1993, BBF 17/08/98]
Pours muddy orange with a very fine, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has heavy oranges, pineapple, bready malts and some cellar notes. Medium carbonation, lovely oily mouthfeel. Flavour is very nice. Quite sweet, some rye bread, pineapple, oranges. Nice, elegant spiciness. Pepper, cloves and a fine, sweetish green apple finish. Really nice.

Thanks Jason for sharing the best by 10/18/2006 vintage bottle. The beer pours to a pale golden body with a rich creamy white head and lively appearance. The aroma has some hay and banana yeasts with light cloves. Reminds me of Scaldis. The flavor is candied pineapples, sweet clean barley, yeasts, and nicely balanced flavors. Very masterfully done. Why’d they stop making this? Clean lighter palate that has a beautiful texture. Clean, vibrant, and nicely balanced carbonation.

Bottle, BB 10/18/06. Poured near-clear medium golden with a creamy, well-retained cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up lemon zest, peppery yeast, and some lighter fruits over pale and bready sweetness. The flavor had bready and fruity character at the core, again surrounded by lemon zest and white pepper.. spices and warmth increase toward the edges, joined by mild oxidation that didn’t affect it negatively.. long, spicy, and yeasty impression on the finish. Medium-bodied and sufficiently carbonated on the palate with great balance.. I really wish this was still in production.

33 cL bottle, 1992 bbd, courtesy of faeroeviking. Pours hazy orange to brown with no head. Wineous and oxidised aroma. Sweet malty and light fruity flavoured. Mild spiced and somewhat wooden. Light alcohol warmth into the finish. Lingering malty finish. Surely over the top, but interesting.
