This is what we refer to as a "Dirty hoe" in the states; 3 parts Hoegaarden, 1 part framboise. Smells raspberry juicy, frambiose-like. A hazy, chalky pink (probably artificially so) with a small white head. Like a raspberry spritzer in taste. Not very beer-like but enjoyable.

Medium shiny light pink head. Muddy pale purple body. Mealy papery aroma with faint raspberry traces. Sweet papery raspberry taste with wheaty citric notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, rounded mouthfeel. Dry wheaty citric raspberry aftertaste, faintly artificial. Decent, but far from great. Too sweet. (0.25l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Found one in the fridge, usually my girlfriend drinks this. Looks pinkish and cloudy red. Head is pinkish white and dissipates quickly. Aroma is of raspberry, raspberry and even more raspberry. Smells quite good although quite artificial. Flavour is also completely dominated by very sweet raspberry. As with diet soda, I also immediately encounter some artificial sweetner added. Although the raspberry does not taste bad, the sweetner dominates the finish and actually ruins the whole experience. Would have actually liked it otherwise.

21st February 2008. Tepid slightly sweet raspberry. Okay but just uninspiring.

Dark pink color with reddish hues, quite cloudy. The head is about 2 cm and has a light pink color. It settles fast and leaves small lacings. Of course, this looks kind of weird judged as a witbier, but it’s actually quite good looking and since it’s brewed with fruit juice, I assume that the pink color is ok. A weak smell, completely dominated by candy-like raspberry aromas. Faint notes of wheat, yeast and vanilla sugar. A boring smell, not very pleasant. The taste is actually just bad. It’s weak and one-sided. It’s very very sweet, and I mean like sugar, with almost nothing else than cloying candy-like artificial raspberry flavors. No tartness what so ever that could balance the sweetness. Some notes of banana, wheat, faint spices, yeast and perhaps some malts. The finish is short and just has some faint notes of raspberries to it. The mouthfeel is actually the worst part of this beer. It’s sticky and it clings onto the mouth in a very unpleasant manner. After a while, it gets really disturbing. Medium body, low levels of carbonation. This is simply just a really bad beer. I had trouble finishing a glass of it, and I can’t come up with a single reason to drink it again. Not recommended. Serving type: bottle (Copy of old Beer Advocate review)

Bottle, 3 % ABV (i.s.o. the 4,5 of this page). Big foamy head, not dense at all. Rose red coloured, armoa is a bit of cherries, not too much aroma. Taste is light , fruity (cherries, strawberry). Sweet, light. Drinking cassis is nicer.

Draught @ BH, Pori. Murky tomato juice, light pink firm head, Strange, very artificial aroma with sweeteners, raspberry candies, C-vitamin drink-mix, not too sweet actually, but there’s loads of minerals. Flavor is table sugar and that same raspberry additive, not much else. Very mellow soft carbonation. Candy beers can be drinkable, but this one surely wasn’t.

Bottle. The aroma is a little bit malty and sour. The white head is rather small and not long staying. The body is dark orange. The taste is very sweet, like fruit syrup. The finish is even sweeter. The body is rather light with a soft carbonation and dry-creamy. The beer is way to sweet, nearly sticky in the mouth
