Pretty much the perfect witbier for a hot summer day. This is a legendary standby witbier and although it is not as complex or good as other witbiers it is still awesome.

Sep 5, 2008 I was on a long ass jog in the pissing rain. I’m talking relentless pissing rain. Like in the 1988 John Candy movie "The Great Outdoors" when the wild bear destroys the cabin and tries to kill John Candy .The wife proclaims "ive not seen rain like this in years". That is exactly the scene that went through my mind as I skipped through a monson .
Az I jogged through a blizard ,I was vizualising a 12 pack of Hoegaarden . You know like one of those chliches "ohh shit it tastes good dude" vibez.
I returned to my castle. Tired ,covered in mud -but with knowing smile . But my queen, she had left me last week . Until we meet Monday next -there is Allways the wheaty ,refreshing starw liquid that is Hoegaarden.

Sep 4, 2008 pouca espuma e nada diferente em termos de colarinho, apresenta corpo turvo e coloração amarela médio, com partículas grandes e grossas em seu corpo. No tocante ao aroma, apresenta fortíssima presença de lúpulo, fungos, leite azedo e ainda aromas mais ‘diferentes’, como bratwurst e ricota. Apresenta ainda, no corpo e paladar, traços de água com gás e uma certa adstringência de água tônica. Seu sabor é azedo, tanto no início quanto no final do gole, com exceção do azedume acético derradeiro. Seu corpo é leve e aguado; no final, torna-se adstringente.

does not count  Sep 1, 2008 Picked up my 2nd 6 pack at the specialty grocery store here in Austin, Tx. If poured correctly, it should have a moderate size frothy head. A quick sniff yields of mildly sweet citrus flavor protrudes through the smooth yet hoppy aroma. This unfiltered Belgian white is best poured into a glass. Take your time and enjoy the complexity.

Sep 1, 2008 (bottle) hazy pale yellow colour, frothy white head. aroma is light yeast and wheat with a delicate, citric hop-spiciness. flavour has dominant citric notes, as well as hints of banana, wheat, yeast and hop spices, very subtle. strong carbonation, light body.
