ogivlado (2323), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 1, 2008 Bottled(500ml). -as Hofbräu München Münchner Sommer.
Cloudy golden/orange coloured, medium sized white head. Malty, light grainy and fruity taste with notes of hops and caramel. Moderate bitter finish. Pretty standard beer. JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Aug 21, 2008 Tap at Ginger Man. Hazy pale amber/golden brew with a very fluffy white head. Aroma is lightly crackery and grainy with a fairly fresh yeasty/bready aroma. A bit of soft noble hoppiness. Decent pils malt character. A softly herbal hoppiness that is nice, but there is also a fairly metallic flavour that detracts from this otherwise sessionable brew. Hansen (1680), Randers, Denmark Aug 20, 2008 Golden colour and clear. Has a big, white head, mostly lasting. Malty aroma, chalk too. Flavor is mainly sweet and fruity. Dry, watery texture. Lively carbonation. HenrikSoegaard (3029), Randers, Denmark Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Surprisingly fruity notes. Moderate bitter. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice. Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 4, 2008 Draught, Hofbrau Miami Beach. Lovely hazy golden with gigantic thick foamy head that lasts a long time, leaving lace. Aromatic as freshly cut herbs. Chive and other grasses. Prickly mouthfeel. Flavors are citrusy and pithy, a nice crisp hop bite in the end but finishes quickly, cleanly making it a good summer quaffer. Another solid one from the brewery.
