On tap at the Biermuseum, Colonia: Amber coloured, mid-sized beige fluffy head; nuts, raisins and dark malt in the nose; quite sweet flavour, a bit sticky, medium to full bodied; shorter sweet-caramelly-bitter finish. Drikable, but not really convincing............

Draught at Biermuseum, Cologne. Dark amber color with a stable, medium, beige head. Aroma is malty with some nice roastiness and a bit of caramel. Flavor is very malty with caramel, a bit of roastiness and some fruits. Medium to full body.

Bier trip in Köln, yeah! I wrote down Kulmbacher Delicator, but appareanlty this is hofbräu. Tap at the bier museum. Raisins in the aroma. Nice thick, light-brown head. A bit watery, but with very malty notes.

Tap at Biermuseum Köln. Amber, fluffy golden head. Dusty malt aroma. Grainy malt body. Honeyish, light fruit. Dusty retronasal. Very fullbodied - or at least it seemed so after a evening drinking Kölsch. Herbal aftertaste.

Draught at Biermuseum, Cologne, 400 ml, Filtered. Amber to brown with lasting white head. A nice smooth toffee like beer, thick and creamy with a fruity plummy background. Gets to be a little sickly by the finish, quite a nice alcohol buzz.

On tap. Almost black with good headretention. Dusty palate and quite dry for a doppelbock. Mouthfeel is thin.

Light malt aroma, low hops, some hint of apples. Deep amber clear with off-white foamy lacing head. Medium body with low carbonation. Starts with light sweetness, light malts, and taste of apples. Apple finish, light sourness, and no bitterness. After has light bitterness. I’ve had better doppelbocks.
