Flavor is more of the same. Nice balance w/ a quick finish. Nothing amazing but very drinkable. jbean (110), Illinois, USA

Aroma is unremarkable, of malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet and malty, and a little toasty. Not overly exciting but very drinkable, but I guess it has to be if they’re going to serve it by the liter. kidmartinek (988), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2007 A brown pour, a little boring, kinda clear. Tastes of cereal grains. Not much going on here. A bit lacking in good taste, with corn, grain taste prevailing. gabbama (116), Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, USA

Medium bodied with a lasting finish. Not to heavy for a dunkel. Would definately drink this again. patrick767 (2037), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2007 one liter draft at Hofbrauhaus - Pours very dark brown with a sizable, lingering head. It smells of sweet malt. The flavor is sweet and the mouthfeel smooth and easy going. The hops are just noticeable. It’s medium bodied and is a simple, straightforward beer that makes for a good quaff in the beer hall. Prost! DrnkMcDermott (1855), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

Surprised this hasn’t been reported in my area lately. Light brown in color. Toasty malt smell. Taste is a bit yeasty again, but there’s some nice roasty malt involved here. Could just be that my sample was from the bottom of the bottle. BelgianBeerGal (1303), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
