Nov 14, 2009 A little on the lighter side in the mouth, bordering "watery"; malty; pretty dry ending, not the best; the spicy flavor balances very nicely with the sweet caramel flavor to make for an enjoyably complex taste; nice dark amber appearance. I recommend it.

Nov 7, 2009 Aroma is malty, brown sugar, caramel, vegetable. The appearance is a deep amber/red. off-white head. The flavor is bread, caramel, nuts. The finish is sweet, caramel, candy, only the slightest piney hop bite, which comes out more as the time goes by. medium mouthfeel. Decent, not bad at all.

Oct 3, 2009 Poured from bottle. Clear medium brown color with some bubbly offwhite head. Aroma is sweet toffee caramel with a bit of sweet nuttiness. Flavor is typical sweet caramel malt with some doughiness and slight fruit flavor. Clean finish. Overall, nothing special.
