| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Poured a clear effervescent dark amber/copper with a fizzy off-whtie head. Fresh aroma of grassy hops, molasses, and biscuit dough. Taste is surprisingly hoppy, with grassy Noble hops sticking out first. There’s s slightly sweet biscuit dough character and a dry toffee taste to it. Finishes somewhat dry. A little hoppier than I like in the style, but not bad. pickled (47), New Zealand
