Caramel accents and a vaguely alcoholic finish. A pleasant Maibock without the sharp alcohol and bitter, hoppy finish that usually categorizes the style. 290606

Aug 31, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden cobber brown with a huge light orange head. Mild spiced aroma, slight metallic. Flaour is spiced and with a light alcohol presence. Smooth breadish note too. Spiced and bitter into the far finish.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown candi sugar. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (230608)

May 15, 2006 Bottle. Fruity and peppery aroma. Dark copper colour. Semi-stable head. Nice peppery and malty flavours in good balance. The bitterness is a bit rough, but that also helps balance the malt.

Jun 2, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour with big off-white head. Aroma of fruit, raisins, malts and a weak sting of alcohol. Strong malty body with hops also coming in. Weak sting of alcohol, and palate is quite "soapish" slippery. Not bad at all.
