| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Bottle… Clear yellow lager with a large, fluffy, white head. Fantastic, rocky retention. The aroma is of honey and skunk. Medium to full-bodied with prickly carbonation. Sweet and malty, but decently balanced by a crisp Bavarian hop bite. Crisp, minerally, lightly sweet finish. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 30, 2008 The pour was a very pale copper color with almost no head and no lacing. The aroma was very malty with only a bit of light fruit cutting through. The flavor was malty, bready and barely fruity. Thin mouthfeel. Not a whole lot going for this one. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2008 Although this does seem to rate well here, I had it on tap at Andy’s and it reminded me of the beers in the Munich tents. Golden with thin white head and light lacing. Clean malty aroma and wonderful malty flavor. Low carbonation gives this a creamy feel on the tongue.
