Commercial Description:
The Munich Beer Festival, or Oktoberfest, is an event of superlatives - it’s the largest popular festival in the world, staging in the beer metropolis of Munich. Millions of visitors from all over the world flock along every year to enjoy its very special atmosphere. For this occasion, Hofbräu brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With its deliciously bitter taste and alcoholic content of 6.3% volume, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier is as special as the Beer Festival itself.

Pours a weak yellow color with a white head. Aroma is bland malts and skunk. Flavor is just as bland as aroma, nothing going on here at all.

Clear straw yellow color with no head. Aroma of bread/yeast. Tasted skunked-some grass, bread... too carbonated. Did not enjoy this.

500 ml bottle. Golden colour. Clean and crisp aroma with some floral hops and nutty malts. A rather sharp hop bitterness mixed with a weird malty flavour. That said the beer is surprisingly malty. Reminds me of a helles bock. Carbonation is high, but works nicely. Has a little too sharp and unbalanced edges for my taste.

Very pale yellow, foamy white head. Alcoholic, dry malty nose, some popcorn. Sweeter malty flavor, little hops and alcohol. Almost medium bodied, average carbonation. Dull as hell.

Bottle, 50cl - Orange golden beer with a large dense beige head. Aroma is malty and slightly hoppy with hints of caramel and some spices. Flavor is rather sweet with hints of caramel and hops. Decent Oktoberfest beer.
