Clear pale straw color, white head. Sugary sweet alcohol scent. Sweet alcohol taste. A bit thin weak mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Some perrpry bitterness from alcohol. Not very pleasant.

Bottle 0,5 l (6,3 %). Clear golden, thick white head. Nose is strongly malty, a bit alcoholic sweet, honeyish. Flavor is malty, sweetish, nicely hopped for a märzen, quite alcoholic and even bockish. Maltiness doesn’t quite cover the alcohol, which makes this a bit boozy rather than refreshing or a treat.

Love the octoberfest. Quality from a quality brewer. Best out of the tap at an Uberstein. This is slightly better than the original. Goog with brats.

Pours clear light golden with lots of fine bubbles and a thick smooth creamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with some grassy noble hops. Medium sweet upfront caramel malty taste, almost like a mai-bock, followed by light grassy hops and a distinctive alcohol finish. Medium body very crisp and a bit creamy.

12oz. Boy this takes me back to Germany. Pours clear golden with a white head that disappears. Not much in the way of aroma (at least cold), mostly some generic malt. Body is almost perfect, smooth sweet malt on a highly carbonated palate make for smooth sailing. Not my favorite märzen but it is quite tasty.

Easy drinking, deep golden Oktoberfest enjoyed from bottle. The green bottle does it no justice. Not what I was hoping for. My anticipation got the best of me. I could drink this all day but I wanted a little more oomph from the malts. It does have its own distinct taste, for sure.

Poured a light golden hue with a thin white head which faded fast. Mildly carbonated. Aroma was somewhat sweet with malt notes. initial taste was mostly caramel like malt notes, but was balanced out by a corny note. It seemed thick on the tongue, far thicker than the appearance indicated.

A disappointment bottled. Better on tap but that doesn’t make up for how much worse it seemed bottled.
