Sure my rating is likely skewed by the circumstance, but it was a great circumstance. I felt the beer looked great, a nice golden color with minimal head though it had some carbonation. And a rather nice flavor, had quite a few of these! And enjoyed them all. StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England

A distinctly wheaty nose has hints of citrus fruit and a slight sweetness in the finish. The taste is the same - a dry wheatiness followed by a sweet malty flavour and the hints of citrus fruit again. The finish is dry and wheaty. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

Thin white head that left no lacing. Smelled sweet, hint of carmel. A nice refreshing beer, but not really that great for style." CamdenD (606), Madrid, Spain

Decent hop profile to this which was nice, but it did come after yet another malt-only lager from Italy. Refreshing at 5.7%. ryan (1778), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Pours pale with a little white head. The aroma is faint but quite a lovely mix of grain, caramel, biscuit and toasted. The flavor is biscuit and caramel, some noble hops. While this is not one of my favorite styles this is certainly a well made example.
