I found this beer to be very malty, well balanced with a crisp fnish. Great color with a clean white head. I could drink a lot of these.

Sep 10, 2005 Slightly yellow dark color, a lot shining and of medium fizz. Fine and persistent foam, good adhesion. Pleasants and decided malty scents, herbaceous rumors and of hoppines on the end. Notes of honey and alcohol. Prickly taste, decided and wrapping. Solid but extremely drinkable. Determined and balanced bitter. Stable and pungente. Lightly mellow and much lively one.

Sep 9, 2005 Gold with a thin white head. Smells slightly lemony. Tastes surprisingly full considering the non-descript aroma with some decent sugar and straw notes. Drinkable, but not what I expect from an Oktoberfest.

Sep 5, 2005 30 Jul 2005 - (Rosalbahof) - Light sweet and hoppy floral aroma. Clear yellow, ordinary head and suds lacing. Bannana flavour with light malt. finishes with a hoppy bitterness that lingers.

Sep 3, 2005 The new style of Oktoberfest to please the american influenced youth of Oktoberfest. Pale color, bland flavor, malty sweet, well carbonated, light head (more liquid beer per glass), very lightly hopped. Sightly warming, light but lingering finish. It’s not a bad beer, for light lagers. But the point is, why? I much prefer the old vienna red old marzens. I had it on draft downtown at the Bodega in La Crosse.

Aug 25, 2005 (bottle) Clear golden colour with a medium foamy white head. Malts accentuated aroma, flavour and taste also with toasted elements, complemented with a soft fruitiness and a soft bitter finish.
