| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Pours a liquid gold colour with big foamy cap that diminishes to a thin white, lightly sticky cap, with good retention. The aroma is big on the hay, and bread, i’m not a huge fan of this style of aroma, but it seems decent. The flavour is malty at first, big on the bread notes, lightly sweet until the end where a touch of hops shows up. An ok beer, it was only the second oktoberfest beer i’ve tried, the other being a sam adams beer which I don’t really remember being anything special either. Ughsmash (4072), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Bottled. Poured clear light golden with a short, sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft, toasted grainy and pale malts accented by light skunk, dusty yeast, and crisp leaves. The flavor found bready and pale malts at the core with grassy and leafy bitterness around.. tangy, lightly sour fruity notes and spritzy alcohol too.. dry, rather sharp finish picked up some lemon zest. Lighter-bodied and scratchy on the palate.. didn’t feel good or flow well.. disappointing. Allen (1425), Switzerland

Sweet taste. Pale malts dominating again. Clean, very drinkable. Thanks a lot joss! fredthecat (201), Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Updated: Oct 16, 2009Bottle: Clear Gold , big puffy bone white cap. Great lacing moderate carbonation.
Aroma is on mark for style: Bready and wet hay with a light sulphur must.
Front side is malty with sweet and bitter in perfect balance, herbal noble hop bite, longer finish with moderate drying light bitterness and that wonderful Munich malt breadiness and npobel hopping leave a lemon like impression.
Decent deviation to the style by a big commercial brewer. This is a rich Munich Helles.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Pours clear pale golden color with thin white head. This is the lightest Oktoberfest I have tried so far. Foral hop and bready aromas. Sweet caramel malt flavor. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Spab (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 10, 2009 500 ml bottle from LCBO (label shows 6.3% ABV). Poured a clear yellow straw colour with small white head. Very sweet, bready nose. Flavour is pleasant - not as sweet as the nose but with bready malts, light hoppiness. Alcohol is fairly apparent. Body is on the light side of medium. So so beer. Ljunkan (399), Karlstad, Sweden
