| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 25, 2009 Bottle. It’s golden yellow with a very tall frothy head. The aroma is quite grassy with lemon, hay, grain. It’s medium bodied. I taste bread and butter, more grass, lemon, grain, light sweet malt. The finish is neither long nor terribly short with some more butter and grain.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Bottle ( 500ml ). Pale clear gold, huge fluffy lasting slightly off-white head. Pretty dull aroma, lightly floral, on the sweet side, grainy; not bad. Taste has more grain to it - oily, nicely and delicately balanced against fresh floral bitterness, not at all boozy. Light, slick, softly carbonated mouthfeel, very quick finish - overall a little light of body, but good with food and it goes down easy mannika (103), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Taste is a bit bitter, but overall not much there. Medium carbonation and a bit of a dry finish. Overall nothing spectacular. cfrancis (338), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Non offensive but not really memorable. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Taste is of malt, honey and a little hop bitter aftertaste. A little weak of a beer for a marzen, might have liked to have a little more spice in this but if you are pounding this at Oktoberfest, this will go down just fine. decimator (51), Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 5, 2009 500ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Poured a clear deep golden colour with a big bubbly foamy head. The foam slowly reduced to a thin cap and some lacing. Sweet at first with some fruity, spicy and floral aromas. As it warms up, citrus notes become more prominent. Taste of sweet malts upfront with a light caramel and honey profile. It’s followed by a tangy fruity sourness with a light bitter hop finish. There’s also a bit of a spicy note throughout. Surprisingly, I can’t really taste the alcohol. Palate is sticky, tangy, bubbly with a crisp finish. It’s very drinkable. I’m usually not a big fan of stronger Lagers but I like this one quite a bit. Papillon (177), Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2009 500 mL Bottle. Gold-yellow body with a thin foamy white head that leaves plenty of lace. Aroma sweet malt, floral, and herbal. Sweet malt flavor with innuendos of green grapes, plum, pineapple, and maraschino cherry that linger in the aftertaste and finish. This beer tastes sweet without being offensive in any way. Hops come in and say "hello" in the aftertaste but don’t overtake the party. Very smooth in the mouth. Gutes Bier! | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Bottle: Poured a light golden color lager with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grainy cereal with more dry notes then expected. Taste is also dominated by the cereal malt bill that is not as enchanting as I had expected. Body is thinner then expected with good carbonation. A bit drier and astringent then I was expecting with malt bill not as refreshing as expected. blankboy (3212), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Bottle [500ml]. Pours a clear gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma is vegetal along with light grassy hops, grain and corn.
Watery flavour is somewhat sweet, grainy and grassy along with light pale malt and a very light bitter finish. Light bodied, oily mouthfeel.
A very boring Oktoberfest, a style I don’t love to begin with, closer to a poor European Lager, I dumped half of it.
