Pours a straw color with a bubbly pale head that settles quickly leaving minimal lacing. Mildly fruity aroma. Crisp, bright start with a light mouthfeel, and a sweet flavor with a slightly fruity finish.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours deep and shiny pale golden and perfectly clear body in texture, carbonation of the body is mild. Head is foamy to frothy, initially quite huge, slowly decreasing to small and rocky with fair lacing.
Aroma: Gentle chalky - hoppy with slightly floral notes on top. Deeper there is kind of spiced up milky - creamy sweet but still gentle accent. Some yeastyness. Rather simple but not weak aroma.
Flavour: Front is salty than comes very nice and intensive retro - nosal grainy aroma with notes of gentle, chalky and a bit floral hoppy accents, clean aftertaste, noble ingredients and pleasant beer in general opinion. Nice chewy, juicy grains are very pleasantly pronounced. Finish duration is long. Gentle alcoholic notes with salty harshness are easily distinguishable.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery to dry, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is clean, gently spicy and salty - accidic.

(On tap at the Hofbräuhaus in München). Classic biscuity aroma, with some sourness. Pure clear golden color. The epitomy of fresh German lager, served in an iconic beerhall. The "maiden" servers are all blonde and buxom, the clientele is noisy and joyous, and the beer is refreshing and filling. What’s not to like?
