Jun 17, 2008 Pours a clear, straw yellow coloured body. Small thin white head, rather grainy with a dominant somewhat sweet malted flavor. A soft touch of hops rounds off this german brew.

Jun 16, 2008 Enjoyed from the 16.9 brown bottle. A well-balanced German lager. Nice malty middle and very smooth palate & finish. Great color- deep golden. An excellent beer.

Jun 15, 2008 Poured to a bright yellow with some carbonation and a thin white head that reduced quickly and left okay lacing. Not much in the nose except a little grain and some floral scents. Mouthfeel was medium boided with little bite, and the flavor is more of the floral and grainy hops.
This was an okay beer enjoyed cold on a hot day, but nothing special.

Jun 13, 2008 One liter pour on tap at the Hofbräuhaus in Munich on 5/31. Clear straw yellow color with a small white head. Lightly sweet and grainy aroma and taste. Nothing special going on here. Just something that tastes decent and is easy to drink quickly and drink a large amount of. Glad I had it at the HB Haus, but the beer itself is not worth the 6.60 Euros I paid.

Jun 10, 2008 BOTM club 6/08 This beer pours a golden yellow with no head. Aromas are slightly sweet and skunky. The flavors are sweet and slightly dry. Typical helles beer. Not that bad though. Cheers!

Jun 8, 2008 On draught at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, MI. Was served very cold, and was golden yellow color with a frothy white head that left some lacing. Aroma of malt and hops, with light citrus and flowers. Taste was slight lemon, pine, hops, and citrus. Mouthfeel was fizzy. Overall was nothing spectacular, but was quenching and pretty good.

Jun 7, 2008 Glugs of Octo’s, vom fass at the beer garden in the Viktualienmarkt. Not sure of the name. Soapy, herbal, intensely sprucey hop aroma with noble menthol hints. Pale, lemony, grassy and dense with coniferous hop and the same lingeringly sweet biscuit note as the weisse. Welcome to Munich.
