| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 3, 2008 On tap at the Oldsmar Tap House. Poured up in a tankard clear gold with bright white head and cobweb lacing. It has a decent strength aroma with malty sweetness, a note of sugariness and pale malts that blend into floral hops. The taste begins both malty sweet and hoppy with growing floral hoppy notes mixed with a vague hop tart bitterness. The hops persist into the finish with tartness and floral notes. Nice warm weather session brew. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Bottle (355ml). Poured a pale yellow with a rocky, average sized head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of sweet malts, grain, hay, spicy hops (pepper) and some honey. Flavor was a light hop bitterness with sweet malts, grain, hay and a (light) peppery finish. Light bodied with lively carbonation, watery texture, dry mouthfeel and an ok finish. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Note: Best if consumed in a large hall, with a polka band playing, while eating a huge preztel. I’ve had this from a bottle and while at the Hofbrau House, and of course it’s better over there. In fact, if I was to rate this froma bottle only, I wouldn’t rate it very high really. But, from a tap in a huge serving vessel, it is very good. A little soapy tasting, but smooth and lively. Hints of honey, malts and bannana. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
