Draft in Munchen. Pours a clear golden, yellow color with a nice white head that quickly disappears. Light, crisp flavor that finishes clean with hops. refreshing beer.

Pours light yellow with a fully receding white head. Aroma of herbal malts mixed with grainy notes of bread and honey. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with very light hoppy resins and lively carbonation. Solid example of the style. Straightforward and easy to drink.

Bottle... Crystal clear yellow lager with a large frothy, white head. Terrific retention. Brown bottle, but it’s light-struck. The aroma is skunky and lemony. The flavor leans slightly on the bitter side of balance. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, minerally, bitter finish.

Surprisingly excellent Dortmunder, only grabbed a single because I wasn’t expecting much but this beer delivers. Aroma has a good helping of grassy malt. It’s thick, crisp, and tart with a nice bitterness to the nose. Standard appearance, medium gold color with a large initial head that becomes a fine film and leaves little lacing. Extremely crisp, light and airy on the palate. Quenching and refreshing, mmm mmm good. Flavor has a light, crisp, snappy malt backbone. The malt is tangy with fresh grass and a light fruitiness (think tart apples and calm lemon). Overall the beer is balanced with fresh clean hops. This beer is truly great for it’s style.

bottle - Pours clear yellow with a one finger white head. It has a light cereal malt aroma iwth a hint of hops. The flavor is lightly hopped and is well balanced by the malts. Definitely let it warm up some and I think the result is a pleasant, light session brew. Not bad.

Not strong for a German pilsener, rather mild with a light to medium biterness. It has a somewhat bitter aftertaste and is very drinkable. It could be characterized as a solid pilsener but not stellar.
