Bottle. Golden beer with a big whitish head. Malt/mineral aroma. Malty, bready flavor with some spice, grass, and mineral notes. Medium bodied. Easy to drink.

Had this beer in a liter mug at the Hofbrau house. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very mild, very easy to drink, but at the same time had a nice flavor to it. Clearly a well made beer. There is a reason that this is the biggest beer hall in all of Munich. Drinking a liter of this gave me a little buzz. Best enjoyed with a large pretzel.

Bottle 42F Lager. Sligt metallic aroma, with very light malts and a touch of germanic hops. Smells nice for a dortmunder, Clear yellow colr with a white head with subtle lacing. Very light taste with very lilttle in the way of grains, but nice noble hops, a fairly good taste. Quite a carbonated mouthfeel, but a dry finish. Easily drinkable not too bad infact I expected worse considering their oktoberfest brew.

The aroma is heavy cereal malt, butter, and grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with an average head for the style. The flavor is like the aroma with the bitterness being just slightly astringent. It is very typical for a German beer. The palate is thin. The aftertaste is lightly bitter with a twist of lemon. This is refreshing but there is no need to make a special trip for this one.

Draught @ Hofbräuhaus, Munich. Pale golden straw color with small white head. Mild hop aroma with a hint of biscuit which follows through in the flavour.

Nice cistal clear yellow-golden beer with a foamy snow white head. The aroma is very pils like but has that extra touch of soft maltyness allong with a mild accent of smooth hops. The taste is light to medium boddied for the style and is well in ballance. You can detect hints of fresh crushed cereals, a nice minereal dryness and a mild bitterness of hops. A great refreshing thirst-killing beer.
