For what it’s meant to be I guess it does a pretty good job being it, this style just leaves me rather flaccid. I guess one after a hot afternoon of yardwork might be the right trajectory, but as a beer-lover’s beer, this one, perhaps this style just misses it. almopina (87), Madrid, Spain

Smooth and crisp, with light grainy, fruity flavors. Clean, dry finish. Pretty safe Helles, easy drinking yet interesting enough to draw you back. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Bottle at home. Really tasty, with the customary German blast of hops and malt. Nice thick, lasting foam. HighlanderOne (543), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Poured from bottle. I assumed this was a pilsener and while I noticed the hops, it’s a lot less bitter than expected. Has a nice balance and finishes well. A good one for a hot, summer day. garrison (455), Cin. city, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 15, 2006 From a twelve ounce green (YIPES!) bpttle purchased at the Western Hills Krogers - This one pours a golden (not
orange, Stueyd), effervescent brew with a tall, quickly diminishing white head and a bready aroma with slight citrus note. Well, this is pretty much just another Eurolager to me, albiet a good one... NOW GET RID OF THE FREAKING GREEN BOTTLES!
