| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 16, 2006 I ordred a liter of this stuff at the Hofbrau Haus in Munich. Looked like stereotypical beer. Large head, with grain/malt flavor. Golden color. As others have mentioned, the beer was pretty refreshing. Stew41 (1054), Caulfield, Australia
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Fizzy head disappears at light speed after pouring. Ultra clear light amber…doesn’t really excite. Industrial nose with a cheap sweet feel – adjuncts perhaps. Flavours are very shallow on the palate and the fizz swamps whatever flavours exist. Some bitterness on the finish but I only mentin this given the blandness of the palate. Very disappointing, almost in the Empire Larger stakes!! dhshool (22), Richmond, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2006 Pours a medium straw color with a medium head that dissapates to about a finger in a minute, leaving some great lacing. Just enough bubbles rising from the bottom to look very appealing. Head has vanished in 3-5 minutes. Smell is very malty with hints of grain and a slight sour fruit smell. Taste is mostly of malt, though is nicely balance by the slight hop bitterness and a clove taste in the finish. Very refreshing, it has almost a pilsner quality about it. rsmeds (220), Turku, Finland
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 4, 2006 Bottle. Clear gold, no head.
Alarmingly sweet, vaguely fruity aroma.
Flavor like a standard pale lager, but reeeallly sweet. Slightly malty and grainy, but mostly just sweet. Aftertaste is short and... you guessed it, sweet!
Very surprising, and not really in a good way either. It has an original flavor, but after half a pint the sweetness just becomes too much for me. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 4, 2006 Bottled. Pale golden in colour, almost no head. The aroma is malty with hints of grain. It doesn’t taste all thhat much and it was a big disappointment to me since I hade had Kristallweisse and Schwarz weisse prior to this one.I Won’t drink it again. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA

Flavor is also of grains but there really isn’t much to it. No bitterness and not much of a finish. A very bland beer HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2006 Typical German style pils. Aroma is distinctly musty, flavor is dominated by grains. Fairly light bodied. Nice golden appearance with a nice head. This beer is a good accompaniment to Schnitzel or such, that’s what it is made for.
