The aroma was light, sweet and tangy malts. The flavor was sweet, tangy and had a grape soda element. The finish was long and sweet. Ok. nhamilton (68), Cibolo, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 1, 2009 I checked out this beer with BeerBaron617, my mom and aunt in Frankenmuth, MI yesterday. He suggested it, and I thought why not. I really enjoyed this beer, it would be something that I could drink just hanging out - not something I typically find with the beers I have trying. It poured a medium yellow with a white head. It tasted very smooth and had a bit of a citrus flavor. I really enjoyed this :) BeerBaron617 (306), Novi, Michigan, USA

I was in a very German state of mind today, so I decided to try this. It poured a clear straw yellow, with a medium fluffy white head. I was actually surprised at the flavor, which was quite refreshing, with plenty of malt and a decent amount of hop character, with a slight citrus note on the finish. Very good session beer. Cheers! The beer pours a golden tan, with a nice head, A sweet-n-sour aroma. A very smooth taste, and not over-poweringly a great example of a "Helles". it’s a good example of why the Big Four as far as ingredients go is not obsolete. A very crisp, and refreshing beer, with a nice aftertaste. harbuck76 (134), El Cajon, California, USA
