If I could compared it to a more common brew, I would compare the taste to Heineken, though much less skunky and more flavor. Comes in pint bottles woohoo! Was on sale for $2.39 at the store so I gave it a shot. Not disappointed at all for the price. Nice clean tasting beer with just about the right amount of carbonation. The only real downside to this beer is that there is nothing really that stands out about it.

Draught, Hofbrauhaus Munchen. Clear pale gold body, persistant white foam. Good clean flavour with some nice malt sweetness balanced with a decent bitter finish and hint of floral hop. Nice sort of Helles.

Bottle from BevMo. Used most of it for cooking. Pours a clear bright golden color with a small slightly fizzy white head that fades to a ring. Aroma is grassy hop, grain, and pale malt. Pretty standard for a helles lager. Flavor is also pretty standard: pilsner malt, some decent spicy, grassy hop character, and some graininess. Similar grainy aftertaste to BMC crap, which knocks it down a peg. Palate is light and crisp, pretty much as expected for the style. Pretty good for an overall boring style.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium sized (what I would estimate as a) white head. A beer I have every year in early Fall but nothing really stands out about it. Relatively standard German beer. A little on the boring side, but only because there are so many better beers out there.

A nice grassy lager that went well with a spicy dinner. The smell gives the hint of hay, or even an unfiltered samson cigarette.

Foggy yellow color with thick white foam. It’s taste is pretty good nothing special though. Sweet at the beginning and bitter at the end. But like I said it is a pretty good choice and not really expensive too. So it is enjoyable and worth a try.

Bottle. Pours with a clear pale golden body and a white head. Aroma of corn, grain wheat, and a husky flavor with faded hops. Taste is dry and faded grain, corn, bready and light fruity esters. Not great. Fizzy, thin, dry.
