Bottled. Very dark brown with big cremy head. Phenols in aroma. Flavour is estery with wheat and just a little roasty. Pretty light body, and lacking in darker flavours. Very short finish.

Bottle, from Riepen Harrislee. Slightly hazy nutty brown with a medium off-white head. Aroma has lots of caramel, dough, some barn and a wheaty edge to it all. A little watery mouhtfeel and quite spritzy, almost pricking at my tongue. Flavour is sweet with a tart fruityness as well. Slightly roasted, a good dose of caramel and a clear presence of yeast. Not much aftertaste.

500ml bottle sampled with Finn. Hazy, dark brown with some off-white head. Wheat malty to the nose. Barley malt in taste combined with a tart bite of cloves and yeast (Olympiapark, München 18.06.2007).

On tap. Typical german dunkel hefeweizen. Fruity and very drinkable. Nice aroma and carbonation.
