Apr 21, 2006 Bottle: Mid-sized rocky off-white head, quite stable, slightly hazy, amber coloured; fruity notes in the nose: bananas, lemons, but also a touch of raisins, a bit yeasty, a bit wheaty...; mild fruity and caramelly flavour with some well hidden acidity, light to medium bodied; short, a bit sourish fruity-malty finish. No Super-Weizen, but a pleasant example of its style.......

Apr 17, 2006 Bottled. Light hazy, dark copper beer with a beige head. Banana, caramel, roastiness and spices in the aroma. Some candy-like notes too. Tha flavor has banana and caramel and a slightly spiced, hoppy finish. A bit thin body with a nice carbonation. Ok beer. (060413)

Apr 7, 2006 6 Sep 04 (Hofbrauhaus-Melbourne) - Stewed fruit malt aroma that is not that pleasant. Dark brown colour, low brown head and good lacing. Roasted malt flavour with unpleasant stewed fruit. Dry tangy flatish and thin. I’d be interested in re-rating this, given this was early in my rating career.
