A pleasant enough drop. Russet coloured with aromas of cloves and pretzels. A fluffy white head that persisted as the glass was slowly drained. Tasted almost identicle to the many German wheat beers I’ve served and consumed, not a great deal of additional flavour beyond the chocolate banana and cloves. I was a little disappointed in that it lacked greater complexity, but an ideal sunny afternoon beer.

Bottle from an Italian supermarket. Cloudy brown rather than black. Full malty body, quite sweet, a nice citrus bite in the tail.
