Aug 23, 2009 A pleasant enough drop. Russet coloured with aromas of cloves and pretzels. A fluffy white head that persisted as the glass was slowly drained. Tasted almost identicle to the many German wheat beers I’ve served and consumed, not a great deal of additional flavour beyond the chocolate banana and cloves. I was a little disappointed in that it lacked greater complexity, but an ideal sunny afternoon beer.

Cloudy brown rather than black. Full malty body, quite sweet, a nice citrus bite in the tail.

Jul 18, 2009 50cl bottle. Light brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma is wheat and roasted malt. Quite sweet and roasty flavor. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit of bitterness. Long sweety aftertaste.

Jul 18, 2009 Dark brown with a rather large beige creamy head. Aroma had roasted malt, caramel and wheat notes. Flavour was sweet and had roasted malt, wheat, caramel and hints of roasted banana. Finished sweet.

Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, light caramel, moderate yeasty, dark banana, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090517]
