Bottle. Brown with an off-white head. Aromas are malty with lemon and banana. Yeasty and fairly sour. Flavours are soft chocolate malts with yeast abd banana. Quite spritzy with citrus. Dry with some nuttiness. OK.

Bottled(500ml). -Dark brown coloured, big beige head, wheaty banana nose. Malty and wheaty, chocolate, burnt sugar and lots of fruit (banana, orange) in aroma with nice notes of toffee and vanilla. Fruity finish.

(Bottle, Haket, Gothenburg, 31 July 2007) Dark brown colour with notes of dark copper, foamy off-white head. Sweet and sour wheatish nose with notes of chocolate and banana. Fruity taste with some sourish wheat notes, bitter-sweet with dark fruit, raisins and chocolate. A good dunkelweizen but hardly the best in class.

Bottle. Dark amber with a big beige head. Sweet yeasty aroma of caramel and bananas. Flavour had more bananas with some milk chocolate and a slightly roasted finish. Good.

(Draught at Hofbräukeller, München) Shady orange-brown color, flussy lasting tan head. Weak estery banana scent. Estery banana and spicy taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Mention this a schwarze weisse gave me hopes of something in the way like the Indslev Sort hvede, but instead I got a below average mainstream bavarian dunkel weiss. Watery, metallic and thinbodied. Rather boring!

Bottle: Nice easy drinking and refreshing. On the lighter side of the style, less potent as others that carry more complex flavours and tones.
