Re-rate summer 2008. Draught. Deep golden colour with creamy mediumsized white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts along with some slight sweetness and also hops. Flavour is bready malts, some rather sweet herbal notes as well as a mild hoppyness. Quite warming touch in the finish, otherwise it hides the alcohol very well. Oakes (8114), Kowloon, Hong Kong

Huge, fresh grain aroma with light caramel and freshly cracked malts. My goodness that is beautiful. Very caramelly, with light toast and a herbal hop underpinning. Beautifully balanced, with a firm alcoholic kick at the back. TBone (6844), Pori, Finland

Dark golden color, big creamy white head, lace. Typical bock aroma: malty, fruity, a bit alcoholic. Wheaty yeasty flavor. Malty, the finish is alcoholic. Hints of grassy hops too. Basic bock, nothing more, nothing less plus propably slightly unclean tap. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Clear and golden, looks like it will be sweet sticky and strong. Marzipan on the nose and the tongue. Not enough to fill out the otherwise thin and boring lager taste. Alcohol easily detected too, which spoils it. Jukkabro (3039), Tampere, Finland

Strong bockish aroma with spices and banana, also obvious alcohol there. Medium bodied. Flavor is more alcoholic with fruity and mild bock-spicy tones, esters in aftertaste with some bread and grains. Alcohol still dominating in aftertaste. Basic bock. Miksu (2231), Jyväskylä, Finland

The aroma and flavor is malty with toffee, alcohol and fruity esters. Bitterness and alcohol in the finish. Too much alcohol and fruitiness, almost like a european strong lager. A liter of this finished me off for the night. a decent sipper that will last you for a while
