500 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Dim, dark orange body with a big white head. Aroma is fruity yeast, esters and spices. Flavor is mild malty, a hint of caramel, yeast and cardboard. Thin and watery body with a rather weak flavor. I like the idea of low alcohol Weissbeer, but it is actually not that light in alcohol and very light in flavor. Maybe that was the intension?

Bottle, ABV 3.2%, at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Hazy golden colour, big to moderate head. Pleasant aroma of cloves and banana. Thin body. The flavour has some citrus and cloves. Refreshing, but boring for a Hefe-Weissbier.

500 ml Bottle, Munich. Pours slighly cloudy yellow, with one-finger deep white head. Very faint on the nose, and not too much on the palate either, of slight citrus, cereal and sweetness. A bit too insipid overall, but I suppose that’s to be expected of a ’Leicht’.

Bottle 0,5l at the restaurant at the foot of the Olympiaturm München 18 Jun 07. Golden coloured. Unclear. A huge creamy head. Overall impression of a diluted wheat beer.

500ml bottle outdoor at a restaurant by the Olympiasee, München. Nice touch of weisse aroma. Rocky white head under a hazy golden body. Some taste of orange, but oterwise watered and thin palate (18.06.2007).

Bottle: Huge rocky head, lacing and slowly collapsing to a stable, creamy off-white layer; cloudy, orangey coloured; robust, sweetish citrus-fruity nose; light sweetish flavour, very light bodied - big surprise ! - ;light lemony and grainy finish. Refreshing, but thin, but not worse than many mediocre "normal" Weizen...........

Aroma is slighly citric, bit grainy and hoppy. Hazy golden coloured with a thin, white head. Taste is bit citric, some wheat and grain. Quite watery. Light in taste. Dull.
