...bottle. Poured a clear dark yellow with a small white head that wasn’t lasting. On the nose were wheat notes, some slight citrus and yeast. Flavors were light and mostly wheat and yeast, with a slight hint of citrus. Light bodied, not very full flavor and high carbonation. Dry finish, lacks body, flavor and sediment. Not horrible, but should be better coming from Germany. [] Recently had it on draft at the Hofbrau House in Melbourne, and it was pretty good, much better than the bottled version, but Holy Satan’s Uncle is it expensive, I think it was 13.50 for 500 ml, come on now, that is just rediculous.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange golden body. Fruity esters of bubblegum banana and citrus. Sweet and malty with a hint of lemon zest in the finish. Decent hefe.

Pours a sparkling clear, yellow color with an average, white, foamy head which lasts longer than expected and leaves minimal, tight lace; very clear for a "hefe." Nose is fairly faint; notes of lemon citrus, light bubblegum, moderate wheat, and hints at clove and banana. Flavor is more like the style with moderate amounts of clove and banana esters with just touches of wheat bread, lemon citrus, and vanilla. Palate is quite lively, creamy, and medium; the body and texture were nice but the carbonation was a bit much. Finishes with some clove, banana, light spice, and lingering bready notes. Nothing special, nice body but too much carb., nice flavor but lacking the more prevalent notes in the nose. Drinkable hefe, nothing else.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, lively carbonation, smaller to medium-sized off-white head; sweetish lemony-orangey nose with a grainy-wheaty background; moderate sweet, light sourish flavour, a bit fizzy, medium bodied; sweetish-fruity finish. A pleasant, not too demanding Weizen........

12oz green bottle served in a Weizen glass. Hazed yellow body topped by an inch of white head. Ha some of that signature "green bottle smell" as well as some tart and fruity esters. Taste of dough, banana, slightly lemony. Smooth and creamy. Much better than I had anticipated.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow (straw) with a big fat white head. Little-no lace. Aroma is wheat and cloves, but has some similarity to a skunky lager. Flavor is light, with a hint of flat lemon-lime soda. punkeedo is correct in the similarity to a shandy. Palate is light-medium bodied, slick and smooth. Overall a very drinkable Hefeweizen, although not great by any means.
