Yellow and cloudy beer with large and white head. In the aroma you can find wheat, some hops and grass. Flavour is surprisingly quite dry but still like typical and fresh Weisse. Smooth and almost full-bodied beer with nice carbonation, anyway, light to drink. Slightly different than typical weissbier: dryer, very low sweetness and some bitterness. After gardening and sauna Münchner Weisse is brilliant choise to cool down.

Tasted 4/18/08. 355ml bottle. Greenie! Hazy and dull with a golden orange hue. White ring of head. Soggy skunky nose. Mild yeast character. Lighter side of medium bodied. More peppery. Sugary with orange and banana. Touch clove. Tingling effervescence. Mildly cloying. Typical, yet a slighter example.

On tap at the Hofbräuhaus. A cloudy golden colour with a good head. A citrus and wheat aroma. Taste has wheat, yeast and some fruity notes. Fairly unimpressive.

Thanks to ghawener. Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Lemon aroma. Light bodied, citrus taste, nice dry bitter hops at the end. Indeed delicious.

On tap at the Cooperage Inn in Baiting Hollow, NY. Pours a very cloudy straw yellow with a thin white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left a bit of lace. Pleasant aroma of wheat, banana and lemon. The flavor is mostly wheat with some banana up front and sweet lemon at the finish. Very easy to drink and refreshing.

Bottle 50cl. Pours a very pale weizen, not much yeast. Small but creamy and longlasting head. Average carbonation. Fresh high fermentation smell. Surprisingly a complex body with a quite long aftertaste. This Weizen tastes much better than it looks like.

Draught at Hofbräuhaus München.
Coludly orange/yellow coloured, big white head, pleasant light acidic wheaty nose. Nice sweet wheaty and fruity aroma with notes of canned corn. Very easy-drinkable beer but also rather industrial brew.
