| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Poured from bottle 3/2008. Notes of bread and cake in the aroma - reminds me of a Belgian ale. Cloudy, golden color, white persistent head. Flavor is wheat with a hint of spice. Very drinkable, but a bit of a watery feel. Alcohol in aftertaste. Tasted sweetness in the finish. A bit thin for a hefe, but otherwise OK. grikmok (92), Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 6, 2008 bottle poured a amber golden in color with huge carbination on the pour resulting in a white frothy two finger head that would have been a half glass full if not poured carefully. carbination is just off the charts on this one. aroma has a somewhat skunky smell like Heineken along side some grains and malt. mouth feel is very light with too much carbination. flavor unfortunately is not too great either, has some metallic twang, malts, tastes like it has been in a can for too long but it is bottled. tried dumping in the yeast at the bottom and it did cloud it up and add a light banana thing but still not too hot. could be a bad bottle but just not sure. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Had this at the Hofbrauhaus, Munchen, Germany, 25-01-08 This beer still went by the name of Hofbrau Munchener Kindl Weissbier in this establishment. It had poured looking quite attractive a light/mid murky amber with white frothy head that soon disappeared, yeast, banana, wheat and tropical fruits were on the nose and also in the mouth I liked this but it was I suppose fairly typical of the style. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 21, 2008 One of the worst weiss beers I’ve had. It had WAY too much carbonation and tasted kind of blah. I was not impressed at all.
