From tap at Simone, Helsinki. Quite watery and easy. Small head which almost disappears. Dry rather than sweet. Don’t really remember much more about it. No evident banana..

Brown and orange in color, murky, thick white head which lowers pretty fast, moderate lace, Fruity, banana, bit yeasty and sweet aroma with flowery notes. Pretty light bodied. Fruity, banana and citrus-like, yeasty and bit sour flavor. Long finish. Too light bodied hefe-weizen.

500ml bottle. Pours a fairly clear pale orange with a frothy one finger head that takes a very long time to fade to a thick cap. Even with all of that foam, there’s very little of it sticking to the glass. Also, this is much more clear than I’m used to seeing for a hefe-weizen. Smell; bananas and cloves are definitely the dominant aromas, with a little yeasty spiciness in the background. There’s also some sweet malts coming through as well. Overall pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Taste; damn near identical to the aroma, with the bananas and cloves coming through clearly, with some sweet, bready malts, fading to a nice spiciness. It’s by no means a great hefe-weizen, but it’s still a pretty good beer that I wouldn’t mind having again, especially when the weather is warmer. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, with a pretty good drinkability.

500ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head that doesnt last long. Aroma is mild banana-clove. Flavor is very good but mild and smooth. Full bodied and very wheaty. Light citric tartness. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Not among the very best of the German Hefes, but still very good. I could drink this all night.

Didn’t stand up to the Paulaner I had the night before. I had this Sunday morning on my deck on the first warm day in PA. I am now a fan of wheat beers. Nice cloudy golden pour with a puffy one finger head that stayed the whole drink. Aroma was weak of banana. Taste was like carbonated water; very fizzy and crisp with hints of spice and banana. I can see why these are summer beers-I can’t wait untill lawnmower season!

Draught at Bishops Arms, Järntorget. Hazy orange with a firm and small white head. Fresh, sourish and spicy in both aroma and flavour. Abit metallic with citric notes. Not that much in it.

Pours a very nice pale gold with a good couple inch fluffy head that has some staying power. The aroma is real spicy and fresh. Flavor is nice with some sweetness. Plenty of carbonation and acidity gives this beer a nice quenching quality.
