Why import something this bland and mediocre? Light watery, banana, clove. sour yeast. Little malt.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Has the hint on bananas and oranges. takes a regular wheat.

12 oz bottle from Table and Vine in Northampton, MA, served fairly cold from a Ramstein weizen glass. Nice, typical big creamy head, slow-dying atop a slightly darkish hazy gold body, little lacing or staying power from the foam.....banana-clove notes of course but also a dull and somewhat artificial lemon-lime soda character which mutes the usually enjoyable esters.....body rather watery and dull, low malt presence; 7UP-like fizzy, dry and extemely bland finish....artificial-feeling carbonation; really pretty weak.

My friend brought this back from Germany with him. Hazy golden color, with a nice thick white head. A hint of hops on the aroma and in the after-taste.

Brown bottle. Slight skunk on opening, shame I had to have this exported. Sweet wheaty aroma, lemon and malt, light banana and possible adjunct. Expecting thin swill. Pale yellow-orange, very thick and creamy white head. Zesty citric taste, body is smooth and creamy but flat and a little thinnish, flavors are dormant. Very light honey. Hint of plastic. Bit of tartness, outside hint of fruit, trailing sourness, but on the whole bland. At best, a nice light HW for post-lawnmowing chugging; at worst, a poor introduction to the style.

Golden amber with a thick white head. Very effervescent. Aroma of banana and clove. Less of the same in the flavor. Short, sweet finish.

Beer poured from a bottle looked great, cloudy and a rich color. Head was white and tightly knit. The beer tasted good but the flavor didnt linger at all.
