Jun 27, 2006 Updated: Jun 28, 2006Draft, at the <a ref=/events-detail.asp?eventID=3891>Balmoral Brewhaha. Very much in hefe country, pardner. Lighter on the banana nosethan a full hefe, but there’s that bit o’clove, some coriander and a bit of bubblegum flavor, too. Light color, a thin head. I’ve also picked up a note of apples further down. A nice light summer beer.

Jun 12, 2006 A cloudy, orange yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A strong wheaty aroma, with an exotic fruit smell, of bananas in particular. the taste is wheaty and the exotic fruit element of banana, papaya and mango! The finish is slightly sweet and malty. (Draught - @ the Hofbräuhaus, Munich).

Jun 10, 2006 Bottle: Poured amber, huge white persistent head, totally clear, no haze. All I could smell from it was yeast. Flavor was very bland, malty, little to no hops. Very thin, no aftertaste to speak of. Also went straight to my head. Other than that, not too much to it.

Jun 8, 2006 Draught at the Englischer Gartern, Munich. Creamy, light Hefe. Golden colour, sweet, yeasty, but very balanced and refreshing. This was lovely, whilst sitting in the sun. I didn’t want to go home.

May 31, 2006 12 oz bottle. Cloudy yellow beer topped by a thick lasting white head. Aroma of clove, lemon, wheaty spice, light apple and pear with only a hint of banana. Flavour is well-balanced, bright wheaty spice and a decent yeast character. Full-bodied and thirst-quenching at the same time. Some lingering spiciness.

May 31, 2006 One bottle from BOTW. I had this the night before my trip to OBX. Poured a large white head. I had squeesed a slice of lemon in the glass 1st so I had a nice aroma of lemon. It went down smooth and enjoyable. I then retired to get ready for the long drive the next day.

May 30, 2006 The aroma is light with notes of citrus and clove. The pour is a lighty golden with a nice fluffy, white head, of full duration. The flavor is light with a pleasent crisp finish.
