Golden colour, sweet, yeasty, but very balanced and refreshing. This was lovely, whilst sitting in the sun. I didn’t want to go home. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2006 12 oz bottle. Cloudy yellow beer topped by a thick lasting white head. Aroma of clove, lemon, wheaty spice, light apple and pear with only a hint of banana. Flavour is well-balanced, bright wheaty spice and a decent yeast character. Full-bodied and thirst-quenching at the same time. Some lingering spiciness. Ron (1039), Rochester, New York, USA

I had squeesed a slice of lemon in the glass 1st so I had a nice aroma of lemon. It went down smooth and enjoyable. I then retired to get ready for the long drive the next day. ehhdayton (1115), USA

Pale gold, becoming dark and cloudy with the yeast. Cracking effervescence below a huge, billowing, pure white head that diminishes, lasts and laces. Some cloves and fruity bread on the nose, at first, then it’s all wheat. Quite mild, which is nice. In the mouth it’s dry, quite watery, with tart wheat in the middle, a little warming alcohol in the end and more phenolics and lolly malt in the aftertaste. Carbonation drops quickly, leaving a pretty smooth, though watery, mouthfeel. Good but not quite a stunner. can8ianben (914), Pasadena, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 18, 2006 Basically a standared Hefe, big aromatic cloves, spices, and citrus, the mouthfeel is smoothe, but there was a strange sour finish on my bottle that I really wasn’t fond of. An interesting beer, but not one to try again. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of citrus, wheat, fruit (banana), and yeast. Flavor is mostly yeast, wheat, with some citrus, and banana notes. Ok body, nothing great, easily forgetable.
