Had an aroma similar to a pale ale. Taste is rather uneventful, is a bit wheaty, but other then that not much going on here. Certainly now franziskaner.

50 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Cloudy light amber colour with a great white head. Aroma of bread and wheat with hints of yeast. Flavour of wheat, banana, yeast and ends very smooth and nice, a really good hefe-weissen.

In the bottle at the Hessen Haus during the 2006 Crescent Moon Beer Bus Trip. Pretty good hefe, but I failed to get all the yeast out of the bottle, so I’m sure it is usually not this clear. Gold with a big white head. Yeasty banana aroma. Flowery citrus flavor with a great balanced sweetness. Smooth finish without the residual ketones of many hefes.

Maybe its because this came in a 44-ounce stein, or maybe it was because I was at the Vegas Hofbrauhaus, but I thought this was a really great hefe. Pours cloudy gold with a massive white head. Wheaty and sweet aroma. The taste is very light and clean. No stickiness. Wheaty, yeasty, and sweet. I recommend having one, or four.

Smells of citrus... kind of a bile-like aroma... in a good way! Stark white, creamy head that went away quicker than I had hoped. The color of a slightly cloudy, slightly orange pilsner. Very light forward flavors, with a nice, yeasty finish. The finish is probably the best part. Not incredibly complex... but crisp and easy to swallow.

Nice warm hefeweizen..Finishes smooth...smells better then it tastes, but it is still a solid beer.
