Aug 31, 2005 A hazy-brownish/bronze with a large and fast white head. Yeasty aromas were sourdough with mild earthiness along with weak notes of honey and banana. Some toffee and a "staleness" emerge as it warms. A malt base provided more sweetness than I was expecting, almost caramel in quality. Smooth, dry and creamy with a bitter finish, although a bit on the thin side. I may be warming up to hefes...

Aug 5, 2005 Bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aromas of banana, yeast and a bit of spice. Palate is both smooth and crisp. Flavors of bread, bananas and a hint of spice.

Jul 7, 2005 Clove and bannana smells imagine that. More bannana then clove. Cloudy dark yellow color. Decent, but fast receding head. Dies schmeckt gut!! This tastes very good indeed. it’s a bit watery, but it has allt he classic tastes and while watery in the finish it has a creaminess to it that I enjoy.

Jul 4, 2005 Bottle. Very light for a german. Pours cloudy yellow with off-white head. Light spicy and sweet aroma. Tastes sweet and a little too smooth. Pretty good dry finish.

Jul 3, 2005 Golden with an initially dense white head, mostly receding. Aroma of clove with some banana. Very refreshing and smooth. A standard hefeweizen, but also a good one, which is to say this is one of my favorite styles. Lively carbonation where hops take a back seat. This is a better beer than the percentile suggests.

Jun 21, 2005 Bottle. Peach, banana and clove aroma. Medium yellow color with ample head. Sweet banana and bubblegum flavor with a clove finish. Nice body. A very nice Weizen.
