Poured cloudy golden with a thin white head. Good carbonation. Aroma had white wine, banana and lemon. The taste was like white wine and a fruit shake. Good white wine palate. Very interesting Hefeweizen. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Apparently this beer is classy, so they only put it in just -- just! -- the 0.5 litre. Slightly stormy and muddy colored. Just okay as a Hefe. Slightly meaty tasting. clvand0 (350), Lexington, Kentucky, USA

Light and sweet fruitiness. Spicy and lemony. The flavor is slightly spicy, lemony, some banana. The aftertaste is superb - clove, banana. Wow. I really enjoyed this beer. I have a new favorite hefe. Has a great, fully body with a great mouthfeel. Great carbonation. Very interesting beer. I’ll be going out today to pick some up.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 20, 2005 17 oz. brown bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a hazy orangish / yellow color, with a volumous, but loose white head. The head quickly fades to a layer of foam on top of the beer itself. Aromas are of soft ripe bananas, along with a subdued malt character. Slight lactic wheat aromas, nothing overpowering though. Mouthfeel is medium, not too thin. Flavors are a mix of ripe bananas, sweet malts, and slight burning phenolics at the end. No hops aromas or flavors. Finished slightly dry. MoritzF (5073), Bochum, Germany

Aroma consists primarily of banana and yeast. Flavor is somewhat grainy. A little bit of a yeasty flavor as well. Drinkable, but not too exciting. Geiserich (1790), Vienna, Austria

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2005 The liquid I poured from the bottle was pale copper in color with a medium creamy white head that left nice lacing on the Weiss glass. The aroma was a beautiful mixture of sweet malt, cotton candy, sour apple and clove. The flavor bursts forth initially with clove and sweet malt while the mouthfeel is soft. The middle begins to display hints of clove and the finish is long-lasting and brings fourth notes of banana.
