Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is of lemon, coriander, floral and slight citrus hops, and some yeast. Flavor is coriander, lemon, banana, and hops at first. Then finishes with some yeast and wheat flavors.

This poured a cloudy yellow color with a big fluffy white head. Aroma was lots of cloves and some banana. Flavor is rich spicey noted, mainly with cloves, some coriander maybe and banana as well. Not the greatest taste but a decent full flavored beer.

Hazy pale golden, fluffy head. Fresh citrus aroma with clove spiciness and sweet vanilla hints. Sour citrus character with moderate spicy finish. Refreshing, standard Hefeweizen.

BeerHawk’s Beer Gods in the Boro, aka 1000 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, By God Beer God Gathering, BG1K Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to BeerHawk. Clear yellow golden with a soft white head. Simple banana and clove aroma. Taste is more simple wheat, light clove and a bit of mashed bananas.

Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color with a white head and minimal lacing. A nice aroma of clove, banana, and spices, but the flavor did not match the scents. The beer had a medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, and an abrupt finish. Overall, this is an okay beer. I like to taste a bit more of the spices. I would try this again, but there are better hefeweizens.

orangish with large thick white head. some clove to the nose. flavor is high in the phenols and a little low on the esters, a very thin mouthfeel leaves an unsatisfied feeling. not exemplary

On tap at the Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh. Nose is weak but has the typical banana clove aroma with notes of wheat but also some sulfury tang. Cloudy pale amber with white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. The taste is fine and is done well, it’s just not that exciting compared to others. A bit one-dimensional with no overtly defining characteristic. I hope that the version brewed on site in Pittsburgh will be a bit better.
