Aromas are of bubblegum, lemon and sweet malt. Hints of vanilla, with mild wheat and hops.
Flavours are quite malty. Some caramel sweetness but not too prominent. Medium hop and wheat tones. Some banana and lemon fruit with hints of bubblegum. Quite a subdued wheat beer, but not bad. Rustyham (598), miami, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2009 As a Hefe weizen, it is decent. Has some interesting citrus tastes and a lot of fizz, but lacks the thickness I prefer in an unfiltered wheat beer. Considering this is a Wheat Ale, it’s not bad, don’t refuse a free glass, but it does taste much like your average mass-produced lager. They could be pulling the wool over our eyes and making a pretty penny. Earlier Rating: 1/2/2009 Total Score: 3 As a Hefe weizen, it is decent.
