0.5l bottle, dunno from where really, shared with heavy
Poured a murky yellow-ochre body with a medium sized thick white head that went away slowly. The nose is close to the typical hefeweizen fare, lactic, nearly chalky, some gluey banana, a bit spicy too. The taste is quite lactic, yoghurty really. Some lemon and banana, dry, unimpressive overall because of some light acidic notes that don’t fit at all. Ok really but not one of my all-time favorites.

0.5 l bottle. Hazy pale amber colour, medium and quickly collapseing head, average carbonation. Smell of yeast/banana/fruit. Sharp/light-sourish taste. Fruity, watery flavour, in the middle mild mouthfeel, medium body. Light-bitter finish. Good drinkable, average Hefeweizen.

Green refigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a nice hazy bright golden color with a fair white head. Taste is banana, skunk and some clove. Boo. This is the worst german hefeweizen I have had.

Cloudy golden body and white head. Sweet wheat and banana aroma. Not too sweet banana and wheat flavor. A bit watery but refreshing to drink. Medium carbonation. A good hefeweizen to drink.

Poured a golden slightly hazy color. Light aromas and flavors of clove and banana. Eh this is a fairly average Hefe.

50cl bottle. Pours cloudy, yellow in color with a lasting, white fluffy head. Banana and yeast aroma. Lots of yeasty flavor, with fruits and wheat. Very refreshing, enjoyable. One of the better hefes I have tried.

bottle - pours light amber with a white dissipating head. Initial aroma was of vanilla and charcoal, esters were almost undetectable - improving after a few minutes though. Initial flavor was of lightly burnt biscuit with only a hint of citrus which finally came through after a few minutes. Both aroma and flavor became more marked as I drank. I expected a bit more from this one.

Serving: Draft. Appearance: Cloudy, deep yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma: Banana, spice, clove, and yeast. Fairly standard hefeweizen notes. Flavor: Mirrors the nose with the banana and spice but with more yeast character and notes of dust, wheat, and just the slightest hints of earth and metal. Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a short finish. Overall: I fairly solid example of the style.
