Aug 14, 2003 I like this beer quite a bit but it is not amoung the best hefe weizen I have tasted. It has the sparkling clove nose and banana flavor which I always enjoy. Yet this was slightly watery and I would recomend the company brew it to taste a little stronger flavor wise.

May 24, 2005 This beer pours a cloudy yellow color with an enormous head. Good aroma. Light and sweet fruitiness. Spicy and lemony. The flavor is slightly spicy, lemony, some banana. The aftertaste is superb - clove, banana. Wow. I really enjoyed this beer. I have a new favorite hefe. Has a great, fully body with a great mouthfeel. Great carbonation. Very interesting beer. I’ll be going out today to pick some up.

Jun 12, 2006 A cloudy, orange yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A strong wheaty aroma, with an exotic fruit smell, of bananas in particular. the taste is wheaty and the exotic fruit element of banana, papaya and mango! The finish is slightly sweet and malty. (Draught - @ the Hofbräuhaus, Munich).

Mar 24, 2006 Very good hefe weizen. Nice banana clove citrus flavor. Head is nice and frothy and thick. Definitely an underated brew.

Sep 25, 2009 One of my favorite weisse beers. I really starting liking tghis brew when I visited the Hofbrauhouse in Munich. Since then it is a staple amongst my weisse beers!
