Draft at the Brewery. Served in a 500ml weizen glass. Pours a lovely muddy orange, glad to see this was unfiltered! Nose was a bit disappointing, mostly allspice, maybe a slight hint of nutmeg and some day old citrus. Body follows with similar flavors, with heavy malt and a slight hint of cherry on the finish. Good mouthfeel and decent drinkability, this is on the lighter side of Weizen Bocks I’ve had. This was by far the highlight of my first trip to the Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh.
