Not bad, but quite shy........ (das 2500. deutsche Bier !) MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Jun 18, 2008 (33cl bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a short, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and toasty malty aroma with nutty and caramelly accents; also traces of alcohol are detectable. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft toasted malt-character with caramel and herbal hoppy notes; sweet and slightly toasty and a bit alcoholic finish with light hoppy accents, giving also a balancing bitterness. Not bad but also no highlight (18.06.08). MiP (6017), Flensburg, Germany May 4, 2008 Bottle, 7.5%. Clear brown colour. The flavour is roasted and dusty, slightly sweet. Quite good, but ends on a slightly rough hop note. joss (3134), Garching b. München, Germany Mar 22, 2008 Bottle. Light herbal roast aroma. Red brown, creamy head. Mellow fruity malt base - ok chewyness, quick finish, very light herbal exit. Meh.
