Bottle: Deep golden coloured, smaller to mid-sized creamy head; sweet grainy nose, mixed with shy traces of aromatic hops - presumably Spalt - ; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, quite creamy MF; short, soft but distinctive hoppy-grainy finish. Solid, chewy Märzen............

(bottle) Clear, bright golden colour with a beautiful and slowly lacing, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma with a touch of honey and subtle fruity notes, backed by spicy and slightly resiny hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Solid caramel-malty, minimal honey-fruity taste with light hoppy spice; medium-dry, sweet and malt-accented, slightly bready finish with a light but balancing hops-character. Pleasant and easy-going Märzen (09.05.08).
